Product Designer – Computer Vision Systems

Job Description:
Jebi is seeking a talented Product Designer with a passion for creating innovative solutions in AI and computer vision. In this role, you will focus on designing intuitive, high-performing systems that bridge cutting-edge technology with user-friendly functionality. Your work will directly contribute to the development of Jebi’s advanced AI-driven products, ensuring they are both efficient and accessible for our customers in the mining and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user-centric solutions for Jebi’s AI and computer vision systems, including hardware and software interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to align product design with technical and business goals.
• Create detailed design specifications, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Develop and iterate on product concepts based on user feedback, data analysis, and field testing.
• Ensure designs consider real-world constraints such as rugged environments, operational efficiency, and industry-specific needs.
• Partner with hardware and software teams to integrate design seamlessly into the final product.
• Research emerging trends in computer vision, AI, and user experience to influence design strategies.
• Advocate for a consistent and intuitive user experience across all Jebi products.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in product design, preferably in AI, computer vision, or industrial applications.
• Proven track record of designing for hardware-software integration and/or enterprise-focused products.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
• Experience with 3D design tools like Blender, Rhino, or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Familiarity with human-computer interaction (HCI) principles and usability best practices.
• Knowledge of industrial design considerations for ruggedized products is advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams while managing multiple projects.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
